REMADE MOVIES

Most movies are always remade for the modern people. Some movies that was remade are The Ammityville Horror. This movie was made with more speical effects and more bloody scenes.
....Another movie is Twilight this is a remake off of the vampire diaries and how vampires fall in love with humans. This movie also has a book and a sequel. There is a new Twilight movie called Twilight Saga: New Moon.
....The Taking og Pelham 123 was a 1970s remake that involoves the high jacking of a train.
....Anna and the King is a remake of the movie The King and I (1955 and 1982). This movie stars Jody Foster and Yun- Fat Chow. The movie is about this lady who travels to china to teach the chinese kids english. Eventually she falls in love with the king but she cannot be with him.
....The movie A Perfect Murder(1998) is a remake of the 1954 movie Dail M for Murder.
....The movie Prom Night (2008) is a remake of Prom Night made in(1980). This movie is about a man who become obsessed with this yong girl and at her prom night attacks her and her friends killing some of them.
.... Shutter (2008) was a remake of the 2004 movie Shutter. This movie is about a young girl that was killed by a man and she follows the man and his wife until the way she died is revealed.
....The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2004) is the remake of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974). This movie was based on true events about a mans desire to be a female and his troubled childhood. So he killed random people and used their skin as masks (eww).
....The Thirt3en ghost(2001) is based on the movie the 13 ghost (1960). This movie is about a family who movies into their dream house which is haunted by ghosts. As a family they come together to get rid of the ghost.
....The movie Walking Tall (2004) is the remake of Walking Tall 1973. This movie is about a man who fights to defend his community from a bunch of drug lords that ttook it over.
....Willard (2003) is a remake of the movie Willard made in (1971). This movie is about a strange man and the only friends he has is rats. Together him and the rats commit so much murders.
....Disturbia (2007) is a remake of the movie " Rear Window" (1954). This movie is about a young teenage boy with a temper problem that witnesses a murder. Him and his friends try to prove the man is murderer but its not until the end when people find out the truth.
....The 2005 movie Four Brothers is a remake of the movie The Sons of Katie Elder (1965). This movie is about four boys that come back to their home town to get revenge for their mothers death.
....The Longest Yard (2005) is a remake of The Longest Yard (1974). This movie is about some inmates at a prison that train and become professional football players.
...Most movies get remade some better than the first and some not better. In later 2009 there should be a remake of Friday The 13th.

THE EVLOUTION OF FILMS

Over the years the way the film is presented has delveloped. Many people have put in their smarts to create a fabolous motion picture. Though we are in a recession movies will never be apart of that because people would always want to go see the latest movies. From black and white to color films would always be apart of American history.

History Of The Films

The first machine ever made in the United States that showed animated pictures or movies was a device called the "Zoopraxiscope". Made in 1867 by William Lincoln, moving drawings or photographs were watched through a slit in the zoopraxiscope. However, this was not like the motion pictures we know today. Modern motion picture making began with the invention of the motion picture camera. Louis Lumiere is often credited for inventing the first motion picture camera in 1895. The truth is, several others had made the same type of inventions around the same time as Lumiere. What Lumiere invented was a portable motion-picture camera, film processing unit and projector called the Cinematographe, three functions covered in one invention. The Cinematographe made motion pictures very popular, and it could be said that Lumiere's invention began the motion picture era. In 1895, Lumiere and his brother were the first to present projected, moving, photographic, pictures to an audience of more that one person.

HOW FILM WORKS

The screenplay is a blueprint for the production and is used to calculate the budget. Also containing the dialogue for the actors, the screenplay provides information about the characters, locations, wardrobe, makeup/hair, sound effects, music, vehicles, animals, special effects, special equipment, stunts, and extras. This information is entered onto breakdown sheets that the production manager uses to compose a production board, which consists of one vertical column for every scene. The columns are arranged in the most logical and economical shooting order, this helps to determine the number of shooting days.The director visualizes each scene as shots taken from different camera angles. The director also works with the actors to create memorable characters. The director is instrumental in selecting actors and much of the technical crew. The director of photography translates the director’s vision into images by choice of lenses, camera angles, and lighting. The director of photography hires the camera crew, often a camera operator, a first assistant, and a second assistant. Sometimes, the director of photography.

Top 10 Horror Movies

I love to watch horror movies. Some are scary and some are more funny than scary. Most horror movies that are based on a true story scare me because that means that they actually happened before. Now have have started a blog on my top 10 scary movies and why they are my top 10 movies.
....#10 is THE SIXTH SENSE which stars Haley Joel Osment and Bruce Willis. This movie is about a young boy who has the gift to see and help the dead. However because they look so creepy he becomes frightened. With the help of Willis the boy learns to deal with the ghosts and eventually goes on with his life.
....#9 is WHITE NOISE which stars Michael Keaton and Chandra West. This movie is about a man's desire to speak with his wife beyond the grave after she dies because of a car crash. This desire becomes an obsession with supernatural repercussions.
....#8 is THE SHINING starring Jack Nicholson and Shelley Duvall. This movie is about a family that is trapped in a hotel for the winter and while in that hotel the fater is posessed by evil spirits which convinces him to do violence.
....#7 is THE AMITYVILLE HORROR which stars Ryan Reynolds and MelissaGeorge. This movie is based on actual events about a family that moves into a house and finds out that the house is posessed. The father in this movie gets posessed as well and is convinced to kill his family.
....#6 is CANDYMAN starring Tony Todd. This movie is about a man who was a slave and was killed because he fell in love with a white women. He was beaten, hung and draped in honey for the bees to attack him. Thats how he became candy man.
....#5 is NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET starring Wes Craven. This movie is about a child murderer that gets killed by his community and comes back to haunt and kill every child in their dreams...( This movie made me not want to go to sleep.)
....#4 is HALLOWEEN H2O starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Josh Hartnett. This movie is about a crazy killer who comes back to kill his sister 20 years later. He eventually gets killed but he is not really dead.
....#3 is THE EXORCIST starring Ellen Burstyn.This movie is about a mother who tries to save her child from a demonic posession.
....#2 is GOTHIKA starring Halle Berry. This movies is about a women who is haunted by a trapped spirit. Throughout the whole movie Berry runs from the ghost but all she really wants is help.
....#1 is THE OMEN starring Predrag Bjelac and Tomas Wooler. This movie is about a child born on the 666 day. This child is evil and needs to be banished. While his fater tries to banishe him back to hell he ends up dying himself.

New Action Pack Movies

This summer it is going to be some hot action movies comming. We have movies that are based on action heros and book heros. Transformers 2: Revenge Of The Fallen is the new action pack movie comming out on June 24, 2009. This movie is a sequil to part 1, when the decepticons who lost the war returns for revenge aganist Sam Witwicky ( Shia LaBeouf) and the transformers. Together Sam and Optimus Prime come together to save all human nature. G.I Joe: Rise Of Cobra comes out August 7, 2009. This movie is based on an elite military group made up of special operatives known as G.I. Joe, who works together to take on an evil organization led by a notorious arms dealer. Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince is the sequil to the other movies based on Tom Riddle a.k.a Voldemort. In this movie Harry gets trained by Dumbledore to face lord Voldemort one last time. There is also teenage love in the air at the Hogwarts school of magic...so mant problems so little time. The real question is will Harry finally defeat Voldemort or would he let him get the best of him again? Another upcomming movie is My sisters keeper. This movie stars Cameron Diaz who plays the mother of a sick young girl who suffers from cancer. This is a sad story about the true meaning of love, family, and loyality.

MY TOP 10 MOVIES OF ALL TIME

There was many movies that made history in America but only 10 of them are my most memorable.

....I ran through every movie ever and comming in at #10 is REMEMBER THE TITANS with Denzel Washington and Will Patton. This is based on a true story about two football teams that wouldn't come together because of their race but at the ending learned to be and act as a team.

.....#9 is the movie GRIDIRON GANG starring The Rock and Xzibit. This is a movie about some troubled kids who let gang violence dictate their lifestyles. They all learn to act as one and become a top football team.

.... #8 movie is DONT BE A MENACE starring Shawn and Marlon Wayans. This was such a crazy comedy about how life is seen to be in " the ghetto". This movie also jokes on racism and its affect on American society.

.... #7 movie is SELENA starring Jennifer Lopez. This is a true story based on the life of a Latin music singer who's life was shorten by an obsessed fan/friend.

.... #6 is the movie BAD BOYS 2 with Martin Lawrence and Will Smith. This movie is about 2 narcotic cops that goes through a series of event to crack their case( comedy).

....#5 is STREET KINGS starring Keanu Reeves, this movie is about a LAPD cop who fight his way through the dirty cops at his job to make his life better.

.... #4 movie is EAGLE EYE starring Shia LaBeouf. This movie is about a man whose brother dies with many secrets left in his colset. After the brothers LaBeouf and a stranger is thrown together by a mysterious phone call from an unknown women who sounds like a machine. This women forces LaBeouf and the stranger to come together and do dangerous situations, using the technology of everyday life to track and control their every move.

.... #3 movie is SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE starring Dev Patel and Anil Kapoor. Though I only seen this movie once it was so good the suspence and every thing was amazing. This is a great movie about love, money and determination.

.... #2 movie is LOVE AND BASKETBALL starring Omar Epps and Sanaa Lathan.This movie is about a female and a male who grew up with a common love for basketball. As the two grew older they began to love each other as well.

...My #1 movie is TITANIC starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. This is a romantic film about the tragety of the sinking of the Titanic ship. This movie is my #1 because no matter how long the movie is or no matter how many times Iwatch it there is always the same affect on me.... I love this movie so much and I would not change my number 1 movie for no other movie.

Something 2 Imagine 4 the Summer!

A new movie that will drop in the summer is Eddie Murphys- Imagine That. This is a little film that Nickelodeon and Paramount Pictures put together for the children and adults. This movie is about a successful financial executive who spends most of his time with his job than with his seven-year-old daughter. When he comes across a crisis and his career starts going down the drain he finds the answer to all his problems in his daughter's imaginary world. This is a comedy that will make people laugh and enjoy their children even more. This film is some thing that the whole family can enjoy. Another new movie that will drop this summer is The Taking Of Pelham 123. This movie features Denzel Washington and John Travolta, this movie is an action/ drama/ thriller/ suspense film. This is a film about Denzel Washington as a New York City subway dispatcher whose regular day is turned into chaos by the hijacking of a subway train. John Travolta stars as the criminal mastermind who is the leader of a highly-armed gang of four. He threatens to execute the train passengers unless a large ransom is paid within an hour. As the time goes by the tension rises, Denzel recaps on his knowledge of the subway system in a battle to outsmart Travolta and save the hostages. But there's one riddle Washington can't solve, even if the thieves get the money, how can they possibly escape the train..........

About me the movie fanatic

The one thing that I would never get tired of doing is watching movies. Some movies that I have seen were great, good and some just not up to my par, however I would always watch them over and over. My favorite movies of all time is Titanic and Bad Boys 2, I have other favorites but these two movies never get old to me. I still cry when I see Titanic and I still laugh when I see Bad Boys 2 and not every movie has that affect on people. Since there are so many super hero movies out...if I had to choose my favorite one it would be the X- man series. I perfer X- man over any super hero because not only does he (Hugh Jackman) always save the day but everytime he saves the day he just looks so attractive. I watch all types of movies scary, funny, sad, old..when I am at home or going out the only thing that i want to do is watch movies. There are many times when I say I would like to become an actress because I watch movies so much and I memorize my favorite parts. But I know I really cant I act. Movies to me just have so many points that relate to real life even though they are not real. They always tell a story weather its scary, sad or funny it always has a point.

The newest scary movie coming out this weekend. A girl is cursed by an old hag and now she is forced to be draged into hell!! Will she make it out or just go down to hell?

Bringing Out Beyonce!!!

Beyonce has done many movies before that became big, but none like obsessed. In this movie Beyonce really became a professional actress by proving she could fight for her love. Her love intreset in this movie was Idris Elba and he was being stalked by this female who was obsessed with him. This female ( Ali Larter) Closed the movie with a fatal ending by having a physical altercation with Beyonce which ended with Ali's death. Though this movie did not make it into the box office, this is so far the best movie Beyonce had.

There are different types of movies all competing to be on the top. The top 5 movies in the running for the week of May 15, 2009 is Angels & Demons, Star Trek, The Origins Of X man, 17 Again and The Soloist. All these movies have an interesting story to them and they all got more than 2 stars for each movie.
